Woman with a red alarm clock in front of her face
Shocker alert - This blog is NOT about Coronavirus!

I had a discussion with my other half last week about life. It started off after we watched an episode of Preppers on Netflix. He made a comment that he thought I'd be good in an end of world situation because I have the ability to not only plan to an inch of my life but also because I know people, or more specifically, their energies. I know who to trust, and who not to. It's an instant thing. I just get a feeling about people. In fact, I don't even have to meet the person. I get feelings about people through calls, emails, messages and pictures.

For years people told me I was paranoid or crazy. Right up until the point I was proved correct. They then wouldn't like the dose of 'I told you so'.

For someone who isn't a people person, I get people. It's a gift and a curse. The thing is, I used to ignore my gift and intuition. I often went against it and followed the "(s)he's alright" crowd. It got me into a lot of trouble. I put eggs into baskets I shouldn't have, and I invested years on people I should have never got involved with to begin with.

Since I've harness and accepted my – gift – things have started falling into place. I don’t let anyone into my life if my alarms start to ring. It’s really opened my daily life up to a lot more happiness. This led to me listening to my inner vibrations more… It’s a lot of spiritual woowoo but it’s really helping.

So, my point is… what are you blocking from yourself that you should be listening too? Are you pushing gut instincts down into the pit of your stomach so you can ignore them? Are you ignoring the alarms going off between your ears? Are there feelings you’re getting about situations or people that need to be acted upon?

It’s time to stop and listen. Listen to all the gifts and signs the universe/deities/nature/body (delete as appropriate) is giving you. If you just listened and acted on your feelings how would your world change?

I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

In fact, I’m pretty sure if you carried on the trend it would make for a happier life and world for you.

Let me know what you think.
Until next time,
